I <3 Marc Jacobs

On Monday my friend Danielle and I went to the Marc Jacobs store. It was my first time! I bought the beautiful blue tote bag pictured below. It fits all my gym clothes and then some. So I love it.
I also bought a t-shirt and a pocket mirror shaped like a heart – all for under $50.

Yesterday I worked at my old theatre where the Uniform is black pants and a white button down. Then they give us these little maroon vests to wear. I decided to wear some 70’s costume jewelry and my little gray vest until I got to the actual theatre.

How dramatic!

I am exhausted.
My exciting news of the day if that I got an East Village bar (The Village Pourhouse) to co-host my October swap for free! They just recently went green and were looking to do a swap and here I come!

Wednesday August 15th

Salvation Army Day!
I was going to also go to the gym and take a trampoline class before work, thus the no makeup look.

I am also over the tube dress I am wearing – Even after losing all the weight months ago i still think i will be fine in a size medium – Not the case!

Today I couldn’t help myself – I stopped in a Salvo by the train station and picked up a Vintage Doony and Burke Bag that I am in love with for $6 and a sequin dress that I drool over when on the hanger – but not sure where I will wear it. – We shall see

Whoa Baby…

This morning I took my weekly trek to the Salvation Army in Williamsburg.
I snagged:

Later, I went to the Hells Kitchen Salvation Army on 46th street between 10th and 11th.
My god it’s as big as a wharehouse!
I was on a tight schedule but after picking up a brand newUrban Outfitters Ipod case ($1) and a brand new Sheisedio makeup bag ($0.50) I find behind the glass case at the register a beautiful pink MARC JACOBS Anouk bag.
It looks like this:

It has a couple of pen marks but it retails for $695.00
I got it for: $9.99!!!!!

I do plan to put this baby up on ebay. it’s just not me…besides My Vintage Louis Vuitton came in the mail today.
I bought this bag for $160…they retail for about $650…this one I got on ebay from a brand new seller.
It looks like it has been sitting in a basement for years collecting dust!
I just gave it a cleaning and believe you me, pictures will be posted soon.

I have no thrifting planned for tomorrow, but Loren, one of my fellow swap buddies did tell me about a store called “junk” in Williamsburg…I may have to go check it out before the week is through….hmmmm.
